A To Zine

Project Scope: Typography is everywhere. For this project, we were tasked with exploring the world around us to identify typefaces and use them to create our own alphabet zine. Additionally, we experimented with Adobe Illustrator’s new AI features to generate type-inspired designs. However, since the AI tools are still in their early stages, they didn’t function as expected. Instead, we refined our prompts until the AI produced a letter style we liked.

My Process: I wanted to focus my findings on the spaces I navigate daily. To achieve this, I took photos of type found on campus and along my regular walking routes. This inspired the map theme I used for the AI-generated version of my zine.
